Five AVRCE Students Achieve Top Standing at Provincial Concours d’Art Oratoire

On May 5, AVRCE students in grades 5 to 12 joined students from across the province at Mount Saint Vincent University to put their French public speaking skills to the test at the provincial Concours d’art oratoire.

Hosted by Canadian Parents for French, Concours d’art oratoire is an opportunity for students to test their French language skills against those with similar French experience. At the same time, students gain valuable experience in public speaking and research. Nineteen AVRCE students were eligible to participate in this year’s provincial Concours, following the regional competition on April 18.

All grade 11/12 winners who competed at the provincial Concours d’art oratoire were awarded entrance scholarships to Université Sainte-Anne and Université de Moncton.
