It takes a village to raise a child and it takes a diverse array of people to educate our children. Teachers play an essential role in educating students, but there are many others who support education: Educational Assistants and Library Technicians support students directly; school bus drivers deliver kids to school safely; janitors keep our schools clean and healthy; school secretaries provide front-line service; technicians keep vital systems working efficiently, and many more. AVRSB currently has 973 full-time teachers and 800 supporting staff.
