The Annapolis Valley Regional School Board, the Nova Scotia Teachers Union, the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union, the Canadian Union of Public Employees, and Non-Union employees are committed to a program of affirmative action and employment equity. Such a program shall consist of policies and procedures which ensure that employment barriers and systemic discriminatory practices are identified, and strategies developed and implemented to achieve a fair and reasonable representation of "identified peoples". Our workforce should reflect diversity. To pursue this objective we need information about our employee population. By completing this voluntary questionnaire, you will assist in the preparation of a profile that shows the diversity of our workforce.
This form need only be completed once. Newly completed forms or requests for changes are to be submitted to Human Resources.
